A Special Meeting of the Dundee Township Board was held Tuesday, April 4, 2023. Supervisor Uhl called the meeting to order at 7:03 p.m. 

 

Present were: Trustees: Alana Horkey, Ken Jaworski, Travis Horkey, Supervisor Uhl, Clerk Anderson, Gary Lazette, & Treasurer Hunt. Clerk Anderson did roll call.

 

• Trustee Lazette motioned to approve the amended agenda. Treasurer Hunt supported. Motion carried.
• Trustee Jaworski motioned to waive the reading and approve the minutes from the regular meeting held on March 28, 2023. Treasurer Hunt seconded. Motion carried.

                         

PUBLIC COMMENT: Danny Botkin spoke about the condition of Maple Grove Cemetery, including the driveway, trimming of bushes and general cleanup.

• Discussed Janitorial Contracts. Trustee Alana Horkey motioned to approve the contract with Auxillio with ability to adjust cleaning duties as needed. Treasurer Hunt seconded. Motion Carried.
• Discussed Cemetery Contract. Supervisor Uhl motioned to approve the contract with Rick’s Lawn Service. Trustee Jaworski seconded. Motion Carried.
• Discussed Schedule B. Supervisor Uhl motioned to approve Schedule B with the new contracts approved. Treasurer Hunt seconded. Trustee Lazette sustained. Motion Carried.

 

 

 

 

NEW BUSINESS:

• Discussed PA-116 application received for Prielipp Farm located at 4651 Downing Hwy. Britton, MI. Trustee Alana Horkey motioned to approve PA-116 for Prielipp Farm. Treasurer Hunt seconded. A roll call vote was done by Clerk Anderson. Trustee Alana Horkey: Yes, Trustee Ken Jaworski: No, Trustee Travis Horkey: Yes, Supervisor Uhl: Yes, Clerk Anderson: Yes, Trustee Gary Lazette: No, Treasurer Hunt: Yes. Motion carried. Treasurer Hunt moved to adjourn the Public Hearing and Trustee Gary Lazette supported. Motion carried. 
• Resolution 2023-5 – 2023-2024 Budget Adoption. Trustee Alana Horkey motioned to approve Resolution 2023-5, with amendment of resolution number. Treasurer Hunt seconded. A roll call vote was done by Clerk Anderson. Trustee Alana Horkey: Yes, Trustee Ken Jaworski: No, Trustee Travis Horkey: Yes, Supervisor Uhl: Yes, Clerk Anderson: Yes, Trustee Gary Lazette: No, Treasurer Hunt: Yes.

 

 

Additional board comments:

• MTA quarterly meeting will be May 18^th.
• Trustee Lazette plans to discuss quotes he received at a future meeting.
