A Regular Meeting of the Dundee Township Board was held Tuesday, September 27, 2022. Supervisor Uhl called the meeting to order at 7:00 p.m. The Pledge of Allegiance was recited. Present were: Trustees: Gary Lazette, Travis Horkey & Ken Jaworski. Supervisor Uhl, Treasurer Hunt & Clerk Sanders. Trustee CJ Horkey was excused. Trustee Jaworski made a motion to adopt the agenda as presented. Trustee Travis Horkey supported. Motion carried. Trustee Lazette made a motion to approve the regular meeting minutes held on 9/13/22 & waive the reading. Treasurer Hunt supported. Motion carried. Trustee Lazette made a motion to accept the Treasurers Report from July 2022. Treasurer Hunt supported. Motion carried. Supervisor Uhl made a motion to accept the Treasurers Report from August 2022. Treasurer Hunt supported. Motion carried. There were no items of correspondence for this meeting.
PUBLIC COMMENT: There were no public comments.
At this time, Kathryn from the Monroe Conservation District discussed the services offered & how the different local companies work together to get residents taken care of in different tasks.

BUILDING DEPARTMENT: No report at this time.
SUPERVISOR UHL: Supervisor Uhl discussed the Trick-Or-Treating date and the discussion that the Village of Dundee was having on changing the date of Trick-Or-Treating from Monday October 31, 2022 to October 30, 2022. After discussion, the board decided to wait until the Village made a final decision & follow suit with them for the Township Trick-Or-Treating date & time. Supervisor Uhl also discussed adding vacuuming to the tasks done by Julie from “Clean Freaking Cleaning” for an additional $10.00 per visit. Supervisor Uhl made a motion to approve the addition of vacuuming to the Township Hall. Trustee Lazette supported. Motion carried. Also discussed were MCRC culvert replacement projects and what project was a priority for the Township. After discussion, Trustee Lazette made a motion to make the Wahoo/Kimpton Rd culvert the priority moving forward. Treasurer Hunt supported. Motion carried.
TRUSTEE CJ HORKEY: No report at this time- Excused.
TRUSTEE GARY LAZETTE: Trustee Lazette discussed the chip-seal work on Dixon Rd & also asked for an update on chairs for the board meetings.
TRUSTEE TRAVIS HORKEY: No report at this time.
TRUSTEE KEN JAWORSKI: No report at this time.
TREASURER LISA HUNT: Treasurer Hunt gave an update on Tax collections as of 9/27/22. 94% of the summer taxes have been collected. 1% have been deferred. She is currently looking into the equipment and charges that would be required to take credit card/debit card payments here in the office.
CLERK SHARAYAH SANDERS: Clerk Sanders gave an update on AV ballots. As of this week the Clerks office received half of the ballot order & are currently working on getting all of the AV applications process. All ballots will be mailed out by Thursday September 29, 2022.

In Additional board comments, Fire Chief Motylinski gave an update on calls for the Fire Department. As of today, the calls are at 850 for the year. At this time there are no daytime firemen available to answer calls due to during the day due to full time jobs. Chief Motylinski gave the board members a letter expressing the want to give the firemen a “Bonus” for the dedication, extra work & support that all of the firemen have been giving. Roughly 12 of the current firemen have 20+ years of service.
Trustee Lazette made a motion to pay the bills in the amount of $24,600.95. Treasurer Hunt supported. Motion carried.
