Boards>Minutes>October 8, 2024 A Regular Meeting of the Dundee Township Board was held Tuesday, October 8, 2024. Supervisor Uhl called the meeting to order at 7:00 p.m. All present recited The Pledge of Allegiance.
Present were: Trustees: Alana Horkey, Ken Jaworski, Travis Horkey, Gary Lazette, Supervisor Uhl, Clerk Ziesmer, Treasurer Hunt. Clerk Ziesmer did roll call.

PUBLIC COMMENT:
OFFICIAL REPORTS
LIBRARY: Programs are going really well. As of the end of August, there has been 5176 attendees to the Library programs. Floors on the lower level are complete. Carpet on the upper level is being done this weekend. Wettle has placed the awnings at the front and back entrances. Fall Programs have started for all ages.
ASSESSING: No report at this time.
BUILDING DEPARTMENT: No report at this time.
FIRE DEPARTMENT: Walk with a firefighter is this Friday October 11th, for the Dundee Elementary students. Safety City starts Monday October 14th.
TREASURER LISA HUNT: Taxes have slowed down for summer. Starting to get winter taxes around. Bank reconciliation process has started, beginning with smaller accounts. Distribution checks for Eggert-Meanwell were sent out along with one parcel from Dixon Rd that was identified. Both districts are officially closed. Gave paperwork on YTD interest earned for 2023 and 2024. Broke it down by month for 2024.
TRUSTEE GARY LAZETTE: No report at this time.
CLERK KARLA ZIESMER: Ballots were mailed out for the November 5th election. Continuing to receive absentee Ballots and absentee Ballot applications daily.
SUPERVISOR UHL: No report at this time.
TRUSTEE TRAVIS HORKEY: No report at this time.
TRUSTEE KEN JAWORSKI: Spoke with Bill Root, the tree removal company is complete with the work he hired them for. He also indicated Oak Grove is done as well. There is one bush he will have to remove in the winter due to a wasp/hornet issue. When both Cemeteries are complete, a walk through will be conducted.
TRUSTEE ALANA HORKEY: No report at this time.
OLD BUSINESS: The review of Deerfield Trigger Ordinance and Battery Storage is being placed on the agenda for a later date.
NEW BUSINESS: Schedule B verbiage is being reviewed and updated for inspectors.
Additional board comments:
Treasurer Hunt motioned to pay bills from October 3, 2024 in the amount of $15,010.09. Trustee A. Horkey seconded. Motion Carried.
Trustee Jaworski motioned to adjourn at 7:34 p. m. Trustee Lazette supported. Motion Carried.
The next meeting will be Tuesday October 22, 2024 at 7:00PM.
