Dundee Township Planning Commission Regular Meeting Minutes
July 15, 2009
Chairman Art Bronson brought the regular meeting for the month of July to order at 7:00p.m. The roll call was taken by Secretary David Sedlar these members were present: Ed Proctor, Liaison Gary Lazette, Chuck Ruehs and Jeanette Brockman. Bob Madaski was an excused absence. George Horkey was an unexcused absence.
Jeanette Brockman made a motion to except the minutes to the June regular meeting as written, Chuck Ruehs supported this motion and all were in favor.
All members present reviewed the agenda for the July 15, 2009 meeting. Mr. Ruehs made a motion to accept it as printed, Mr. Proctor was in support and it was unanimously accepted.
There was no public present.
Communications - Liaison Lazette noted that the he had 4 items to bring up to the Planning Commission. The first has to do with garage sales the number of garage sales allowed by our ordinance was 6 or 14 depending and the rewrite is going to make it 14 days. The Township Board wants to change that but they do not have a specific number in mind at this time.
He also brought up about civil infractions, a burn ordinance and noxious weeds ordinance. The civil infractions portion is still in the beginning stages and he was just making us aware of it. As far as the burn ordinance he thought they were going to pass it at the township meeting the previous night but there were still allot of questions to be answered. There would be no fee for the permit it would be a courtesy permit to keep tabs on burns. The fourth item Noxious Weeds, they are looking at other townships ordinances to maybe get a starting point on establishing one of our own.
Scheduled Business
A. Building Permits - Mr. Madaski presented building permits #BP090018- #BP090021 for the boards review.
Mr. Sedlar made a motion to adjourn, Mr. Lazette seconded this motion, and it was unanimously accepted. Meeting adjourned at 7:30 p.m.
