The minutes to the August regular meeting were unanimously accepted after Ms. Brockman moved to accept them as printed and Mr. Proctor supported this motion.
The agenda for the September 16, 2009 meeting was then reviewed by all members. Mr. Lazette added Item B, Garage Sales Discussion. Mr. Sedlar moved to accept the agenda as amended, Mr. Ruehs supported his motion and all were in favor.
Communications - Chairman Bronson said that he had contacted Jeff Purdy of LSL, regarding using the civil infraction method of ordinance enforcement. Mr. Purdy said all we had to do was revise the enforcement section of the ordinance book. He also said that the Township's general law ordinance would require a thorough going through. There were several sections within that book that stated the penalty and the enforcement right in the ordinance itself.
Public Comment - Vern Guindon requested that the Dundee Township Planning Commission consider an amendment to the Dundee Township Zoning Book. The suggested amendment would allow township residents to have 2 days of on-premise auctions per year. Mr. Guindon handed out a flyer to all commissioners present. He also gave an outline of his presentation to the secretary, of which a copy will accompany these minutes.
